There is a mysterious resurrection found in Matthew that is found nowhere else in Scripture, nor is it found written within God’s plan or the Feast Days. It’s not found in any secular witness testimonies of the historians in Messiah’s day, and we know we need to confirm a truth by two or three witnesses.
So, where did this dubious resurrection come from, since it’s found nowhere supported in Scripture and contradicts everything in God’s plan?
In my opinion, it was added to the Bible to help support a false belief that people go right to heaven the moment they die, but this is not true. Remember, God warned us of a system rising in the last days with a man at its head who would change God’s times and law. I need to make mention again of the fact the word “times” has an “s” after it, which means this false system of worship changed many of God’s times.
Danial 7:25 He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, and shall intend to change times and law.
This system did in fact change many times in God’s plan even to the point that no one is even following God’s plan or even knows God’s plan. For example, Sabbath to Sunday, Passover to Good Friday, Feast of First Fruits to Easter. They even replaced the word “Passover” for the word “Easter” to help support “Easter” as being one of God’s holy days.
Acts 12:4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. KJV
The word should be “Passover”.

The man at the head of this false system of worship feels he has the power and authority to change God’s times and law because he has put himself as “God” and above the “Word of God”.
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that Day will not come until the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

There is much more to say about this system that changed God’s times and law, but instead, let’s take a closer look at this suspicious resurrection. Remember, the Son absolutely needs to be the first one raised from the dead, never to die again, because he is the first fruit of the dead.
Colossians 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
In other words, He needed to be raised first to have supremacy over all those who will be raise after Him, on the Last Day.
John 11:24 Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”
Now, let us take a closer look at what Mattew 27:50-53 is really saying. Pay close attention because whoever tried to change this to distort the time of the resurrection on the Last Day messed up.
Read it closely and see man’s error. Pay attention to the timing. It says the “Moment” the Son died, the curtain tore, the earth shook, the rocks fell apart, the graves were open and the dead raised. Remember, Passover is when the Son died, He would then spend 3 days and 3 nights in the tomb and rise on the 3rd day, according to the Scriptures.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.
When people quickly read Matthew 27:50-53 and use one sentence from it to prove the dead are alive in heaven, they miss this error. Now read it closely.
Matthew 27:50-53 Then Jesus gave another loud cry and gave up His spirit and died. At once the curtain in the house of God was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks fell apart. Graves were opened. Bodies of many of God’s people who were dead were raised. After Jesus was raised from the grave, these arose from their graves and went into Jerusalem, the Holy City. These were seen by many people.
Did you catch it? It makes no sense because it’s Babylon i.e. confusion. Even when they changed the word “Passover” to “Easter” it does not make sense because “Passover” is God’s Holy Day that represents the crucifixion of Messiah and “Easter” is the resurrection of their Jesus, they need an Easter resurrection so that they could have a reason to change the Sabbath Day to Sunday. All of this is made up.
It’s just another distortion of God’s times.
The Son spent 3 days and 3 nights in the tomb and was raised on the Feast of First Fruits, and the resurrection of the dead, which is the Great Harvest, takes place, “WHEN HE RETURNS”.
1 Corinthians 15:22-23 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. But each one in his own order: Christ the first fruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming.
How about a different translation…
1 Corinthians 15:22-23 Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life. But there is an order to this resurrection: Christ was raised as the first of the harvest; then all who belong to Christ will be raised when he comes back.
And another one…
1 Corinthians 15:22-23 Everyone dies because all of us are related to Adam, being members of his sinful race, and wherever there is sin, death results. But all who are related to Christ will rise again. Each, however, in his own turn: Christ rose first; then when Christ comes back, all his people will become alive again.
When you have a distortion of God’s times and law, it messes up His whole plan.
Pay attention… Christ did not get the power to raise the dead to eternal life until He Himself was raised and glorified at the right hand of the Father.
John 5:26 The Father has life in himself, and he has granted that same life-giving power to his Son.
Acts 2:33 Now he is exalted to the place of highest honor in heaven, at God’s right hand. And the Father, as he had promised, gave him the Holy Spirit to pour out upon us, just as you see and hear today.
John 6:63 The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life.
Because of all the changes to God’s times and law, no one knows what’s going on, and those who do, can’t find fellowship.
